Just recently checked out the site TwitterFollower.com, associated with the internet marketing guru, John Chow. It’s been around for a year or so and pretty much is a site to help people get more followers on Twitter for FREE. The program works basically by following other Twitter users on a list and then they follow you back. You also can get listed on the database and be followed too. Here’s our experience with this site.

TwitterFollower.com
Price: Free
Features: get listed for free on a large Twitter database
Benefits: get more Twitter followers for free
How it works: Follow Twitter users on the list and they follow you back
The expectations for this Twitter program were not high, since being free and all, but it’s from a well known IM guru, John Chow I figured it would beneficial. The site has a very large Twitter user list or database that people signed up to be on. I guess it’s exclusive to Twitterfollower.com and you must have an account to access it. You follow them and in return they follow you. Upon signing up to be on the list, you pretty much are committed to follow back anyone who follows you. Anyways, my experience with TwitterFollower.com was really poor.
You need to register to get an account. Real simple, name, email and password. I was anxious to get at least a few thousand new twitter followers for free but my excitement abruptly ended when I couldn’t even connect my Twitter account to my “Twitterfollower” account. For some reason the site never could connect to my Twitter Account. I entered my Twitter username and password and it would show an error page. I thought maybe it was just some sort of glitch so I tried a different email and different Twitter account, same thing happened. Never connected to my Twitter account so I never even got to see the members area of Twitterfollower.com.
That was not all, later that day I started to receive emails from JohnChow’s blog because when you enter your email to signup for an account with Twitterfollower.com, it automatically subscribed me to his blog too. Let’s just say I’m not a fan of TwitterFollower.com. You might have better luck than me, but I won’t be spending anymore time with this site.
